・By bus : Take Tatsumigaoka-jyunkan, which departs from No11 bus station, and get off at Tatsumi-kita-1chome (about 6min), and walk to the east for about 3min..

How to get to OKAZAKI

Okazaki-city lies 40 km southeast of Nagoya (which is located between Tokyo and Osaka). The nearest railway station is Higashi-Okazaki station of Meitetsu line running between Toyohashi and Nagoya, both of which are JR (Japan Railways) Shinkansen stations. National Institute for Physiological Sciences (Myodaiji Area) is located on a small hill at the back of Higashi-Okazaki station; 7 min walk from the station to the south. A shuttle bus bound for Central Japan International Airport also departs from Higashi-Okazaki station.

There are three ways to reach Higashi-Okazaki station.

■ From the direction of Tokyo
Change the train to Meitetsu at Toyohashi Station and get off at Higashi-Okazaki Station (about 20min.between Toyohashi and Higashi-Okazaki). About7min. on foot to the south (turn left at the ticket barrier)

■ From the direction of Osaka
Change the train to Meitetsu at Meitetsu-Nagoya Station and get off at Higashi-Okazaki Station (about 30min. between Meitetsu-Nagoya and Higashi-Okazaki). About 7min. on foot to the south (turn left at the ticket barrier).

■ From Central Japan International Airport (Centrair, NGO)

About 65 min. by Meitetsu Bus for Higasi-Okazaki Bus Station. About 7 min. on foot to the south.
＜By Train＞
About 65 min. by Meitetsu Airport limited express for Higasi- Okazaki Station. About 7 min. on foot to the south.

■ By Car
Drive Tomei Superhighway to Okazaki Exit, about 1.5km　toward Nagoya, turn left at City Office S.E. signal.About10min. from Okazaki Exit.
