Registration is open after 5 p.m. on the 15th at the entrance to the Restaurant eSangriaf (before the get-together party) and throughout the meeting at the entrance to the Okazaki Conference Center (OCC). Total registration fee is 12,000JPY (lunches, the gala banquet (16th), a supper (17th) and the get-together party). Registration only: 5,000JPY (all lunches and the supper on the 17th included but banquet (16th) and the get-together party not included).
Total presentation time for each speaker is 30 min (including 5 min discussion time). Speakers can use their own laptop computer if they intend to use Power Point. Alternatively, speakers can use our laptops (Windows and Mac). We ask the speakers to gather at the stage before the session to prepare for the presentation.
Please post your materials on the board showing the correct poster number. Size of the poster should not exceed 115cm x 85cm (height x width). Poster sessions are scheduled for the 16th (for posters with odd numbers) and 17th (even numbers). Please stand in front of the poster during the poster session. We would like to keep the posters on the board throughout the symposium so that discussion can take place in front of the poster at anytime during the meeting. Please put up your poster during the morning of the 16th and remove it during the coffee break (15:30-16:00) on the afternoon of the 18th.
Seven short talks (5 min each) on selected posters are scheduled before the poster sessions on the 16 and 17th. Due to the very tight schedule, total presentation time for each speaker is strictly five minutes including one brief question from the floor. Please submit presentation by Microsoft Power Point (on CD-ROM) at the registration desk on the 15th.
Several Ethernet ports with cable are available at the entrance to the main hall.
On Mar. 15th at 18:00-20:00 at Okazaki National Institutes (Restaurant eSangriaf). Fee, 2,000JPY per person (free for those who paid the full 12,000JPY registration fee).
Mar. 16 after session 4 at OCC. Fee, 5,000JPY per person (free for those who paid the full 12,000JPY registration fee).
Mar. 16th before lunch. Please gather at the entrance to OCC.
Lunch will be served for all participants in the Dinning Hall of OCC.
A cloakroom will be open only for the 18th.
