Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to announce the 39th NIPS International Symposium and the 7th
OIB Symposium "Frontiers of Biological Imaging: Synergy of the Advanced Techniques"
to be held November 10 -
The meeting is a joint symposium of the National Institute for Physiological Sciences
and the Okazaki Institute for Integrative Bioscience and also a satellite to the
9th Asia-
In the last five years after the 30th NIPS International Symposium “Frontiers of
Biological Electron Microscopy”, we have witnessed a great expansion in the microscopic
imaging world. To reflect some of the new opportunities that one can now exploit,
the meeting will focus on the methodology and mainly on the ways to combine microscopic
techniques for observation of biological samples. Some examples: Transmission Electron
Microscopy (TEM) + Light Microscopy (LM), TEM + Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), LM
+ AFM etc. Non-
