Dear participants,

We had enjoyed this wonderful and succeessful workshop. We appreciate to all attendees for coming to Okazaki Conference Center and had a nice and intense discussion in terms of cortical microcircuitry.
We hope we can see you again here at Okazaki in near future.

We are pleased to invite you to the Satellite Workshop of the Japan Neuroscience Meeting: The 35th Seiriken Conference, "Recent Advances in Cortical and Hippocampal Microcircuit Studies", which will be held in Okazaki, Japan, on July 24th, 25th and 26th, 2006.

This meeting is of significant importance for the field of cortical and hippocampal microcircuits. The sessions of the meeting will present recent data from cutting edge enquiries regarding the synaptic connectivity of cortical neurons using multiple electrode and optical recording, and electron microscopic observations. A key focus of the meeting is the fundamental characteristics of neuron subtypes defined by genetic expression patterns, physiological characteristics, and in vivo functional architecture.  As you can see from list, speakers are outstanding who are in the forefront of this field from the U.S.A., Europe, Israel and Japan.

We hope you can join us for the workshop, and share with us for this special opportunity.
