Section of Brain Function Information

Supportive Center for Brain Research, NIPS

Research

We focus on understanding biological phenomena, developing new measurement and analysis techniques using magnetic resonance (MR). Our work covers biological structure, function, metabolism, and molecular dynamics. We also provide MRI imaging and analysis support to researchers within and outside our organization, working across humans, primates, and rodents.

Research Interests

  • Studying higher brain functions using functional MRI (fMRI)
  • Developing high-precision imaging and analysis methods for brain structure and function
  • Measuring biological structure, function, metabolism, and molecular dynamics
  • Understanding diseases through multi-center clinical brain imaging
  • Supporting MRI/MRS research for biological systems
