Abstract

This report describes Research Administrators' (URAs) approaches to supporting interdisciplinary integration and multi-institutional networking within the "Spin-L" program under MEXT's CURE framework. While co-creating "Spin life sciences" via Magnetic Resonance (MR) technology required overcoming distinct research cultures and organizational divides, URAs functioned as crucial "hubs." They enhanced environment accessibility, managed open recruitment, and facilitated internationalization and youth research communities. Based on these practices, this paper discusses research management methodologies and URAs' roles in bridging divides to sustain research communities, highlighting future challenges.
