小野 勝彦 准教授

岡山の県北出身。岡山大学理学部生物学科卒業、同大学院修士課程修了。1982年より岡山大学医学部・助手（解剖学第3講座；新見嘉兵衛教授、川村光毅教授、徳永叡教授）、その後だいぶ経って同講座講師。島根医科大学・助教授（解剖学講座第2；安井幸彦教授）を経て、2003年3月より現職。この間、1992年から1994年、米国クリーブランド、Case Western Reserve Universityの研究員（遺伝学部門；Rutishauser教授）。

専門は神経発生学。主な研究テーマ／興味の対象は、中枢神経系の発生過程における細胞移動と回路網形成の形態的解析、およびオリゴデンドロサイトの発生。小脳と脳幹・脊髄を中心に解析してきたが、最近、前脳の解析も始めた。実験に使う手技は、形態学的解析がほとんどすべて（免疫組織化学染色、in situ hybridizationなど）。顕微鏡下の「風景」観察が好き。

魚座でO型。
