We are actively looking for potential graduate students to join the lab.
Our lab conducts work on a broad range of topics in obesity and other lifestyle-associated
diseases at a physiological and molecular level, using experimental animals
(mouse) and in vitro cell culture systems.
Prospective PhD candidates can join the lab through the Department of Physiological
Sciences graduate program at The Graduate University for Advanced Studies
(SOKENDAI). The Department has a detailed Graduate Admissions Website containing the information about admission requirements, scholarships,
logistics, and support.
In addition, candidates who are considering Physiological Sciences as their
graduate field of interest, are encouraged to apply for the NIPS Internship Program, which is held biannually. The internship offers a good opportunity to
gain relevant experience, and to get a realistic perspective on what it
is like to work in our lab.
If you have any specific questions about applying to the graduate/internship
programs, and are interested in joining the lab, please contact us.
