Invitation to NIPS: NIPS Internship 2021 (approximately 2 weeks) application closed
National Institute for Physiological Sciences (NIPS) (Department of Physiological Sciences, School of Life Science, The Graduate University for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI)) invites foreign students who wish to stay at NIPS for approximately 2 weeks (internship) in FY2022. The aim of the internship is to provide students who are thinking of entrance to our PhD course program with an opportunity to experience our education system and research activity. We believe this opportunity will be very helpful to students in making a decision to enter our graduate university. We will support travel and staying expenses. There is a selection for this program.
We typically accept approximately 10 interns every year; however, the program can be cancelled or subject to changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

[How to apply]
You will be required to submit your CV, academic records, recommendation letter, each as a separate file and provide a short statement of your motivation. So, please prepare for these items well in advance. All necessary items must be submitted by the deadline.

【Step2】
Once Step 1 is completed, you will receive an email from us. Now you can upload your CV, academic records, and recommendation letter via the URL provided in the email. We only accept DOC/DOCX, PDF, and JPG files. The maximum file size is 10MB in total. Note that a recommendation letter should be written by the head of your affiliation, such as a dean, department head, PI, or someone in an equivalent position; we may contact them.
