The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) was held in Bordeaux, France. Hiroki Oishi delivered an educational lecture as part of the educational course "Neuroanatomy and its impact on structural and functional neuroimaging (In Memory of Karl Zilles)," which was co-organized by Professor Takemura and Dr. Meiqi Niu. In addition, Hiroki Oishi and Daiki Taguma presented a poster. Furthermore, presentations were given by former members of the Takemura Laboratory and collaborators, sharing a wide range of ongoing research outcomes.

Lunchtime party
We held a lunch party for Meiqi and John, who are leaving the Takemura Laboratory this month, and Toshikazu Miyata of Princeton University, who visited us for a meeting following the JHBM. We hope to stay in touch and wish the best of success for your future!
JHBM@Himeji (March 2026)
We attended the 28th Annual Meeting of the Japan Human Brain Mapping Society, held from Friday, March 20, to Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Arcrea HIMEJI, where we presented numerous posters. Additionally, Professor Takemura served as a chair for the symposium titled "Next generation of brain imaging analysis: from computer science to physiology and anatomy." The session was highly engaging, with lively discussions throughout.
