Child care service will be provided in the FAOPS2019 venue to those who have completed the advance application and payment. The service is provided by NPO “Human- Connect Hyogo (1452-1 Teraike, Myodani-Cho, Tarumi-Ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, Tel: +81-78-709-6500)”, which is contracted out by the FAOPS2019.

The service is for children from 1 to 10 years old.

Half-day; 7:30 - 14:30 (Mar 31 only; - 13:00) /2,000 JPY
Half-day; 14:30 - 20:30/19:30 /2,000 JPY
One-day; 7:30 - 20:30/19:30 /4,000 JPY

STEP2: Check-in and use of child care service on the day
STEP1
Upon agreement on all the notices of child care service and "nursery-concent.docx" in this page (which you will be asked to sign on-site), download and fill out the application form "Nursery Service User Information" (excel sheet). Then, e-mail the form to the Child care office (faops2019@convention.co.jp), by February 28, 2019.
*The parents need to approve that child care staffs speak Japanese or English.
*Information for any allergy (especially for food) should be informed in advance to prevent unexpected accidents. Fill in "Food allergy research" sheet of the same excel file and send it along with the above application form.
Cancellation：
For a smooth running of the child care service, a cancellation must be reported to the Child care office immediately. Contact the Child care office (faops2019@convention.co.jp) with the applicant’s name, the child’s name, time and date of the service to cancel the service. Please be informed that cancellation made after March 20, 2019 will apply to 100% cancellation charge.
STEP2: Check-in and use of child care service on the day
1. Please come by to the “Child care” registration desk located at the Entrance Hall, 1F, Kobe International Exhibition Hall, No. 2 Building.
• Registration for the child care service is required every day if you have registered more than two days.
2. Make a payment for the child care service at the “Child care” registration desk.
3. In case of unforeseen circumstances;
If a child suddenly falls ill or an emergency evacuation is required (such as in the event of an earthquake or a fire), the decision-making and the emergency treatment are entirely left up to the child care service provider, NPO “Hito Connect Hyogo” and FAOPS2019 staff. The emergency contact person will be called up and her/his prompt response is kindly requested.
4. Come to the child care room at the scheduled start time. The child’s physical condition including the body temperature will be checked. A copy of the application form and a thermometer are prepared in the child care room.
• Please let the child care room staff know the parent’s name who will pick up the child. If a different person will pick up the child, please let the staff know it in advance.
• Medication is not done by child care room staff. If the parents need to enter the child care room for medication, please let the staff know her/his name in advance at the time of physical-condition check.
• Entering the child care room is prohibited except for registration, medication or pick-up.
Pick-up:
Please pick up the child by the scheduled end time. At the pick-up, the
staff will check the parent’s identification (e.g. driver's license, health insurance card, passport). If a child is not picked up after the scheduled end time, the extra fee will be charged.
We, as the FAOPS administrator, set up a waiting room for children in Kobe International Exhibition Hall (1st floor, 2nd building). Our stuff members will be stationed and children can study by themselves in this room. Children aged 11 years or older can stay alone. Children aged 10 years or younger can also use this room if their guardian stays with them. Lunch-time use is welcome.
Please note:
• Children aged 11 years or older can stay in this room alone. However, when they come there for the first time, they have to be accompanied by their guardian, and the guardian has to fill in contact information.
• Children younger than 11 years old must be accompanied by their guardian all the time.
• We do not provide any food or drink other than bottled water. Bring your own.
• Our staff members only manage children’s entrance and exit. We are not responsible for any accidents or other troubles.
