Registration Instructions for FAOPS2019

(1) All PSJ members need to register and pay the registration fee.

(2) General symposium (speakers and chair(s))
To both Non-PSJ members and PSJ members (i.e. All)
Registration: Need to register from the registration site.
Need to pay the registration fee. Need to pay the Congress Dinner fee, if wish to join.

Abstract submission:
Necessary, but NOT from the general abstract submission site.
The web address of another abstract submission site for symposium speakers will be informed shortly.

◆Advanced Registration

  • Advanced Registration Period:
  • Early   Aug. 1st, 2018, (12:00 noon, JST) – Oct. 31st, 2018 (12:00 noon, JST).
  • Normal  Nov. 1st, 2018, (12:00 noon, JST) – Dec. 20th, 2018 (12:00 noon, JST).
  • Late   Dec. 21st, 2018 (12:00 noon, JST) – February 28th, 2019 (12:00 noon, JST).

◆Registration Fee

* Graduate/Undergraduate Students
A certificate such as ”student’s identification card” is required for Graduate/Undergraduate Students.
Please submit the copy of the certificate by e-mail to the congress secretariat
( during the application period.
If you register on-site, please show your certificate to registration staff.

** Accompanying persons
Accompanying persons are limited to family members of the participants.
Colleagues or friends are NOT eligible to register as accompanying persons.
Accompanying persons are not admitted to scientific sessions of FAOPS2019.

◆Registration Procedure

1) Advanced Registration
Please note that there are 3 different periods for Advanced Registration.
Registration will be done only by on-line.
Please click the "On-line Registration" button at the bottom of this page.

2) On-site Registration
Please make payment at the On-site Registration Desk.
* Graduate/Undergraduate Students should show his/her certificate ”student’s identification card” to registration staff.

◆Payment Method

All payment must be made in Japanese yen.

1) Credit Card
American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club and JCB are acceptable.

2) Bank Transfer
Remittance must be completed within 7 days after “On-line Registration”.
Bank account information will be provided on the last page of the “On-line Registration”.
Please note that all transfer charges must be paid by participants.

◆Online Registration Flow

1. Please access the online registration system through the button and enter your profile.

2. URL is sent to your email address to set up Login ID and password.

3. Please select your registration category and other options.

4. Please choose a payment method either by credit card or by bank transfer.
*Pending registration is automatically cancelled after 1 hour unless a payment method is decided on.

5. Confirmation letter can be printed out when the payment is confirmed.

Please print out your confirmation slip by clicking the "Confirmation" button and bring it with you to the On-site Registration Desk.

You can edit your profile, ID and Password on your account page in “My LaCool” by the deadline of Advanced Registration.

◆Confirmation / Receipt

The Confirmation Letter and receipt can be printed out through the “On-line Registration” page, when you complete the payment.

✶The Confirmation Letter can be printed as many times as you wish by April 30th, 2019.
✶The Receipt can be printed only once. Please inquire the Registration Desk if you fail to print.

◆Cancellation Policy

Please note that 50% of your total amount will be charged if you cancel your registration before the deadline of late Advanced Registration.
In addition, bank handling fee or transfer charge may be withdrawn from this refund.
After the late Advanced Registration deadline, no refunds will be made.

◆Deadline for Registration

The deadline for online registration is February 28th, 2019 (20:00, JST).

For those who submitted a regular abstract, registration should be done by October 31th, 2018.

◆Abstract Submission

Please access the abstract submisssion system through the button below.
On-line Registration is not required for abstract submission.
However, if presenting author does not register by Oct. 31th, abstract may be rejected.

This is for only general poster abstract submission. The submission URL for special lecture/symposium speakers will be announced later.
