<概要>運動皮質-筋間の活動の同調性の指標である、頭皮脳波と筋間のコヒーレンスを求めることで評価できる、本研究では、脳波筋電図コヒーレンスの筋間差およびその運動競技歴による差異を検討した。結果、1)脳波筋電図コヒーレンスには大きな筋間差が存在し、上肢に比して下肢で、近位に比して遠位で、その値が大きいこと、2)こうした筋間差は、長年の競技歴をもつ、バレーダンサーやウェイトリフターでは消失し、すべての筋で低値に収束することが示された。

<概要>健常若年者13名において脳波を頭頂部から表面筋電図を右前脛骨筋(Tibialis anterior:TA)から計測した。被験者には、[1]TAの等尺性収縮させる(運動タスク)、[2]筋活動がない状態で等尺性収縮をイメージさせる(運動イメージタスク)、[3]イメージなしで安静にさせる、という3つのタスクをおこなわせ、タスク中の脳波筋電図コヒーレンスと脳波の振幅変化の関係を調べた。その結果、感覚運動野において共通する皮質ネットワークが、運動および運動イメージ両方の発現に関与していることが示唆された。
